Nursery Care
NURSERY
(NEWBORN – 36 MONTHS)
Here at North Fresno Church, we offer our nursery program for newborns through 36 months old. To better serve the children (and parents) who use the facility, we maintain an environment that is safe, clean, and fun for your child. Bringing your children to church at an early age is beneficial for them, as well as for you. The more regularly your child attends Nursery Care, the more familiar your child will become with the nursery, and feel comfortable with the attendants that serve them. We have a sleeping/feeding room with cribs, rockers for nursing moms, and an infant section with swings, play yards and toys. We also have a toddler section with age-appropriate toys and slides. Our nursery is available during both worship services as well as during the Learning Hour. It is located on the first floor of our Education Building.
Children's Church
CHILDREN’S CHURCH
(3 YEARS OLD – 6TH GRADE)
We believe that church should be enjoyable as a family, and we offer children the opportunity to experience the worship service with in the larger church setting. We also know that children have shorter attention spans than adults, so we offer a Children’s Church that begins part-way through our services. There is an announcement during the service to dismiss children to Children’s Church. At that time, children ages 3 through 3rd grade have the option of attending Children’s Church on the 1st floor of our Educational Building. They listen to a Bible story, do a craft/coloring page, play games, and lots more.
Children’s Church Drop-Off Procedure:
During the worship service, we’ll let you know when it’s time for the children to be dismissed for Children’s Church. For the Classic Service, children meet in Room 102. During the Contemporary Service, they meet in either Room 101, 102, or 103 depending on their age. When you walk them to the Education Building lobby, be sure to sign them in and get a wristband. During the service, students rotate between the 3 classrooms on the first floor, and you will pick them up in an adjacent classroom to where they started. After the worship service, you may sign them out in that classroom and return your wristband.
All students must complete a Children’s Ministry Waiver to participate.
Our Wednesday Night Programs
ROTATE
(Kindergarten – 6th Grade)
On Wednesday nights, from 6:30 – 8:00pm, our children will ROTATE between:
* Gym Station – students will play fun games to help kids exhaust some energy, learn to play kindly and build friendships
* Video Station – students will listen to a “God Story” (Bible lesson) and a “My Story” (a child sharing how this God story is lived out in real life)
* Small Group Station – students will interact with the God/My Stories in small groups and work out applying what they’ve learned in their families, neighborhoods and schools.
A staff member will be waiting at the check-in tables in the courtyard at 6:30 pm. All students must complete a Children’s Ministry Waiver to participate.
